All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) is a student body with students of various backgrounds with an aim to bring together everyone in the name of God. The motto is “We are born into an unjust society and we are determined not to leave it as we have found it” envisions students to serve the world.
The AICUF unit at St. Xavier's College, Simdega organizes various socially relevant and personality development-oriented programmes with the aim of transformating education for its members. The society tries to achieve this through several outreach programmes, by which the students get practical exposure to the day-to-day living of the underprivileged and the marginalized, and they are sensitized about the socio-economic realities of our country.
AICUF of SXC, Simdega organizes various activities keeping 3 objectives in mind - Social Outreach, Personality Development and Spiritual Growth. These activities include camps, retreats, hikes, exposure visits, exhibitions, seminars, webinars and campaigns. The AICUF aims to respond to various social and societal issues, especially those where inequality and injustice are rampant. Social justice and reconciliation is the basis of all AICUF activities. It includes social awareness, social service and social outreach.
We are born in an unjust society and are determined not to leave the way it is.
