Dear Students,

Education, in Jesuits tradition, brings us together to learn, journey and integrate the gift of life individually and collectively thus to be whole person and whole human Society. This education leads us to stand with Critical thinking and continuous endeavoring for Excellence with differences. A call to understand the challenges by means of education and embrace the vision of life to bring life in lifeless. The Life is not dead but in crises today, which is to be accepted with proper awareness and healed with Eternal Word of Healing. Our engagement in education resolves the crises with proper disposition and gives corrective shapes to young minds with conscience, compassion, competence, commitment and character, thus to bring good news to oneself and to the everyone across the world.

We learn every day and every moment, and so we grow with our learnings and experiences. The right education brings wisdom and awareness to cherish the blessings received. Journey of wisdom is though gradual but the root gets rooted unbeatable to crush the Word that becomes flesh in our life journey to ultimate Goal of Education which is ever reachable but never attainable. World looks full of competitions and tensions, which does not help human beings to grow positively, instead kills the peace in one’s heart and family. Education gives opportunity to understand oneself and discover the smooth path with right direction, motivation and strength. Monotony is to be disturbed to see the Truth dislocated by Physical distance, Social exclusion and digital divide. The vision of Truth becomes clearer where there is re-imagination and re-structure of life journey. Reimagining of Goal and restructuring of methodology to achieve the Goal are possible by True education realized by every individual. Every stakeholders’ responsibility is to support one another to realize such embedded Truth.

Flexibility, adaptability with openness to Almighty Creator may help us to redefine our life journey with proper Goal. The world is full of knowledge and intelligence to be invented with continuous discoveries which demands more conscious life than consumption.

I give Congratulations to Students, Management, Staff, Parents to respond life with right education constructively. I thank all the administrative officials of Ranchi University, Simdega District and the officials of Jharkhand State for the positive response and prompt support to understand his Divine Call and create a better Society today.

St. Xavier’s College, Simdega visions ahead to impart true knowledge to every member of the Society and create the professionals for the nation and the Society at large. A tough Challenge is accepted by the tough leaders where everyone learns to struggle and struggles to touch the sky for perfection. Let us explore the possibilities to touch the Truth with greater priority of life and service. It is important to discover oneself and promote life with ethical and human values to save life in nature and nature in life.
